This was my first try with this, as I was figuring out the best cement to water ratio for molds like these. I used Quickcrete cement. The pouring hole is big enough that I didn’t spill. The cement set up well enough for me to demold overnight. It was still dark gray and needed another day to finish drying when it came out of the mold, but was easy to remove and nothing broke off. The mold cleaned up perfectly. I’ll be making a lot of these, as it’s best rose I have seen to date.
