I already wrote a review – this item is absolutely beautiful…I bought 6 for gifts! But later I read what one person wrote for the one-star review. She was upset because she bought for a baptism and had to hurry to find something else because the wood was unfinished. I thought about this quite a bit. I don’t think the wood should be finished; it’s perfect in its original state, olive tree wood – plus, why would you give a baby something varnished? Just my opinion.
