Just because the box doesn’t specifically say “for scars” does not mean you can’t use it for that. I cleared this product with my surgeon before use. It is the same medical grade silicone just like the “scar strips” but cheaper. So if you want to pay more for “pre cut strips” that say “for scars” on the package, be my guest. This tape works great.

When my doctor recommended Scar Strips for a recent Breast Augmentation I was really surprised to see the price of some of these. So I bought the expensive stuff and when this came up as an option I figured why not. Just as great as the expensive stuff. Tape stays on several days. I would say you can shower once in between changing. I’ll be ordering more.
