The first time I used this my soup had cooled so it worked pretty well, but I thought oh this won’t remove the fat when it is hot and real liquidy, but since I have used it now about 6 times and boy it really does WORK. It makes removing fat and other stuff you want to strain out so much easier. My only “negative” comment is I wish It was slanted instead of flat, which would make it easier to draw through the broth.
