I bought this to replace a cracked chlorine floater for my above-ground pool. It arrived promptly, in good shape. It would work fine for one inch chlorine tablets, as well. You can open or close the vents at the bottom partially to adjust the chlorine availability. The top loading compartment opens and closes easily, yet locks so kids can’t accidentally knock it open in the pool. I highly recommend it if you need an inexpensive chlorine floater.
